Brain and body workout tested for liver transplant recovery

NCT ID NCT05909371

Summary

This study tested whether a special exercise program could help liver transplant patients. It compared standard physical therapy to exercises that combine movement with thinking tasks. The goal was to see if these 'motor-cognitive' exercises could improve memory, balance, and walking ability in 32 patients after their transplant surgery.
