Radical transplant strategy offers hope for advanced liver cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06910722
Summary
This study is testing whether liver transplantation can help people with advanced bile duct cancer that can't be removed by regular surgery. First, patients receive targeted radiation therapy and chemotherapy to shrink the cancer, then they receive a liver transplant. Researchers want to see if this two-step approach helps patients live longer.
