Summary

This study tested whether using an ultrasound on the neck artery during surgery could help doctors better assess a liver transplant patient's fluid and blood flow status. Researchers monitored 42 adult patients undergoing planned liver transplants. The goal was to see if this method provides useful information to guide fluid management during the complex operation.
