New scan aims to spot childhood liver cancer sooner
NCT ID NCT06639828
Summary
This study is testing a special dye called Sonazoid to see if it makes ultrasound scans better at finding and identifying lumps in children's livers. Doctors will give the dye to about 50 children in Europe and compare the detailed scan results to other tests to see if it can accurately tell harmless lumps apart from cancerous ones. The main goal is to improve early and accurate diagnosis, which is crucial for getting children the right treatment quickly.
