New hope for breast cancer spread to liver: targeted chemo trial opens

This study tests a new way to give chemotherapy for breast cancer that has spread to the liver and stopped responding to standard treatments. The drugs are delivered directly into the liver artery to target tumors while reducing side effects. About 30 adults aged 18-70 with liver-only metastases will take part. The goal is to see if this approach can control liver tumors longer.
