New hope for breast cancer with liver spread: targeted chemo trial opens

Summary

This study tests a chemotherapy combination (albumin-bound paclitaxel and nedaplatin) given directly into the liver artery for breast cancer patients whose disease has spread only to the liver and who have not responded to standard treatments. The goal is to control liver tumors and delay progression. About 30 adults aged 18-70 will participate.
