Summary
This study compared two existing drugs, terlipressin and octreotide, to see which one works better for a dangerous condition where kidney function rapidly worsens in people with advanced liver disease. The trial involved 60 adult patients in a hospital in Pakistan. Researchers measured how well each drug improved kidney function within 48 hours.
