Scientists test if liver health changes how brain drug works
NCT ID NCT05731895
Summary
This study tested how liver problems affect the way a new brain disease drug (iclepertin) is processed by the body. It involved 29 adults, some with liver impairment and some with normal liver function. Each participant took a single dose of the drug, and researchers measured its levels in the blood to understand how liver health impacts the drug's behavior.
