New scanner aims to spot fatty liver disease faster

NCT ID NCT07321925

Summary

This study is testing a new type of ultrasound device to see if it can accurately measure how much fat is in a person's liver. Researchers will compare the results from this new device to the current gold-standard method, an MRI scan. The goal is to create a simpler, more accessible tool to help doctors monitor fatty liver disease, which is linked to overall metabolic health.
