NCT ID NCT05532124
Summary
This study tested whether LAENNEC, a medicine made from processed human placenta, is safe and might help people with chronic liver disease. It involved 49 adults with fatty liver disease and elevated liver enzymes. Researchers compared different doses of the treatment against a placebo to find the best dose and see if it improved key liver health markers.
