NCT ID NCT04701281
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to deliver chemotherapy directly to liver tumors that spread from colorectal cancer. Doctors used balloons to isolate the liver's blood flow and then injected the drug oxaliplatin. The goal was to see if this targeted approach worked better than standard chemo given through the whole body. The trial was stopped early and only included 5 adults with stable or worsening liver tumors.
