New combo attack on tough liver cancer shows promise
NCT ID NCT04945720
Summary
This study tested a new combination treatment for people with advanced liver cancer that had spread into a major vein in the liver. Researchers combined a targeted chemotherapy delivered directly to the liver with an immunotherapy drug designed to help the immune system fight cancer. The goal was to see if this two-part approach could help patients live longer and control the cancer, while monitoring safety in 30 participants.
