New Two-Pronged attack on advanced liver tumors

NCT ID NCT04339036

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two treatments—oral chemotherapy (CapTem) and a targeted radiation procedure (Y90 radioembolization)—is safe and can better control the growth of advanced neuroendocrine tumors in the liver. It is for patients whose cancer has spread to the liver and cannot be removed by surgery. The main goal is to see how long the treatment can keep the liver tumors from getting worse.
