New drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat liver cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding the experimental drug ABSK-011 to standard supportive care helps control advanced liver cancer better than supportive care alone. It's for patients whose cancer has worsened despite previous treatments and who have a specific biomarker called FGF19 overexpression. About 141 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a placebo, with neither patients nor doctors knowing which treatment is given.
