Zapping liver tumors: new study tests electric pulse treatment

Summary

This study is testing a procedure called irreversible electroporation (IRE) to destroy liver tumors that have spread from colorectal cancer. It will enroll 50 patients who have already received chemotherapy. Researchers will track how well the treatment eliminates tumors and monitor patients' quality of life and survival over time.
