Targeted attack on liver tumors tested in elderly cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07209384
Summary
This study is testing if a targeted liver treatment is better than standard chemotherapy for elderly patients with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. The targeted method delivers chemotherapy directly to the liver tumor through its blood supply. Researchers will compare how well the cancer responds and is controlled in about 50 patients receiving either the targeted or the standard treatment.
