New hope for advanced liver cancer patients: aggressive treatment may open door to Life-Saving transplant
NCT ID NCT07310836
Summary
This study looks back at whether combining multiple cancer treatments can shrink liver tumors enough to allow more patients to receive a liver transplant. Researchers will review medical records of 300 patients with advanced liver cancer who were initially considered ineligible for transplant. They want to see if this aggressive approach helps patients live longer and successfully receive transplants.
