New study tests if software can spot dye in liver tumors during radiation

NCT ID NCT05169177

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at images from 50 liver cancer patients who received a special dye (contrast agent) during a procedure before radiation therapy. Researchers want to see if a software program (KIM) can detect that dye in the images to better track the tumor during treatment. The goal is to improve targeting of radiation, not to cure or control the disease directly.
