New surgical approach could give hope to High-Risk liver cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07149558

Summary

This study is testing whether a less extensive liver surgery approach is safer and improves survival for patients with bile duct cancer who don't have enough healthy liver tissue left for standard surgery. Researchers will follow 300 patients who either receive this modified surgery or non-surgical treatments as part of their regular care. They'll compare survival rates, complications, and quality of life between different treatment approaches.
