Targeted radiation zaps inoperable liver tumors in trial
NCT ID NCT05797870
Summary
This study tested a one-time, targeted radiation treatment for patients with liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Doctors injected a radioactive substance directly into the liver's blood supply to deliver radiation to the tumors. The goal was to see how well this approach shrinks tumors in people with this difficult-to-treat condition.
