Tiny radiation beads target liver tumors in new trial
NCT ID NCT04736121
Summary
This study tests a targeted radiation treatment for liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. Doctors inject tiny radioactive beads directly into the liver's blood supply to attack tumors while sparing healthy tissue. The trial will measure how well the tumors shrink, how long the response lasts, and the treatment's safety in 100 patients.
