New drug targets arginine to fight advanced liver cancer

Summary
This Phase 3 trial is testing whether a drug called ADI-PEG 20 can help people with advanced liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. The study will compare the drug against a placebo in 300 participants who have high levels of a natural substance called arginine in their blood. The main goal is to see if the drug helps people live longer and slows the cancer's progression.
