Paramedics get live video backup to diagnose breathing crises faster
NCT ID NCT04817488
Summary
This study is testing if paramedics can diagnose the cause of sudden, severe breathing problems more accurately when they use a portable ultrasound machine with live video guidance from a remote expert. It will compare the accuracy of diagnoses made with and without this video backup in 350 patients. The goal is to see if this technology helps paramedics identify the right problem faster so patients can get the correct treatment sooner.
