Summary
This study tests whether lithium carbonate, a drug used for mood disorders, can improve behavior and thinking in people with a rare genetic condition caused by changes in the TBR1 gene. The trial will include 12 participants aged 6 and older who will take lithium for 24 months. Researchers will measure changes in daily living skills and watch for side effects.
