First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compared a liquid form of thyroid medicine (Tirosint-SOL) to crushed tablets in babies up to 9 months old with congenital hypothyroidism. The goal was to see which form better keeps thyroid hormone levels in a healthy range. The study was stopped early, but results may help guide easier dosing for infants.
