Summary
This study aimed to measure how long it takes for different amounts of clear liquid to empty from the stomach in healthy adults. Researchers enrolled 70 participants to gather this basic information. The goal was to provide data that could help doctors create safer guidelines about when patients should stop drinking before receiving anesthesia.
