NCT ID NCT07293962
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special liquid made from a patient's own blood can improve healing after standard deep cleaning for gum disease (periodontitis stages II-IV). About 14 adults with at least 20 teeth and deep gum pockets will receive the blood-based rinse in half of their mouth and a saltwater rinse in the other half. Researchers will measure pocket depth, gum attachment, and bleeding over 3 months to see if the blood product helps.
