Blood test may replace needle biopsies for endometrial cancer patients

NCT ID NCT05049538

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test, called a liquid biopsy, can find cancer cells and predict if endometrial cancer will return after treatment. Researchers will collect blood and tissue samples from 1,000 women with endometrial cancer to compare the liquid biopsy results with standard methods. The goal is to see if this non-invasive test can help doctors monitor the disease more easily.
