New glue may make hernia surgery safer and faster

Summary
This study tests a special glue device called LiquiBand FIX8 that doctors use to hold mesh in place during open hernia repair. About 109 adults with a first-time inguinal hernia will take part. The main goal is to see if the glue works as well as other methods and to check for any side effects like bruising or infection.
