Sound waves may speed jaw bone healing after cyst surgery

Summary
This study tests whether low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) can improve bone healing after surgery to remove jaw cysts. About 29 adults will receive either real or sham ultrasound for 10 days after their operation. Researchers will measure pain, numbness, quality of life, and bone regrowth using scans.
