Fat injection study for finger pain pulled before start

NCT ID NCT04076397

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if injecting a person's own fat (lipofilling) could reduce pain and discomfort after a fingertip amputation. It planned to enroll adults with persistent nerve pain in the fingertip for 6 to 24 months after injury. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
