Summary
This study looked at how fat (lipid) metabolism is linked to severe pneumonia caused by COVID-19 versus other germs. Researchers measured cholesterol and other fat-related substances in 62 adults with severe pneumonia. The goal was to understand these differences, not to test a treatment.
