Summary

This study tests whether the drug linaclotide can improve bowel movement frequency in people with type 2 diabetes who have chronic constipation. About 23 participants will receive either the active drug or a placebo for two weeks, then switch after a two-week break. The goal is to see if the drug safely increases the number of spontaneous bowel movements compared to placebo.
