Doctors look back at hundreds of Kids' Leg-Lengthening surgeries
NCT ID NCT06714110
Summary
This study looks back at past medical records to understand how safe and effective two types of limb lengthening surgeries are for children aged 12 and under. Researchers will review X-rays and patient records from about 200 children who had surgery to correct a leg length difference of 2 cm or more. The goal is to learn about healing times, complications, and outcomes from surgeries using either an internal rod (Precice IMLL) or an external frame.
