Summary
This study looked at whether special shoes that light up when you step can help older adults keep their balance and walk more safely. Fifty-two people over age 65 tried walking barefoot, in regular shoes, and in light-up shoes. Researchers measured balance, walking speed, and fall risk to see if the visual cue from the lights made a difference.
