Light zap before nose job may cut black eyes

Summary
This study tests if shining red and infrared light on the face one hour before nose surgery can lessen swelling and bruising after the operation. Sixty adults having open rhinoplasty will either get the real light treatment or a fake one. Researchers will measure swelling on day 3 and track recovery for up to a year.
