Colored lights tested to speed up painful wound recovery

Summary
This study is testing whether shining special red and blue lights on surgical wounds helps them heal faster and with fewer problems. It will involve 222 adults who have had surgery for a perianal abscess. Participants will be split into three groups to compare standard wound care alone against care plus either red light or a combination of red and blue light therapy.
