Scientists test light therapy to speed up athlete recovery
NCT ID NCT05989815
Summary
This study tested whether a special light therapy could help professional soccer players recover faster from muscle damage. Researchers compared three groups of 30 athletes who received light therapy before or after intense exercise, or a fake treatment. They measured muscle soreness, blood markers of damage, and jump performance over several days to see if the therapy helped.
