Military tests healing light to get injured soldiers back on duty faster
NCT ID NCT05843864
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special light therapy to standard physical therapy helps soldiers with shin or foot stress fractures heal faster. 105 military trainees received either real or fake light treatment three times a week for up to six weeks, along with their usual care. Researchers measured how quickly participants could return to duty, along with their pain levels and leg function.
