Red light therapy tested to save Kids' eyes from screen strain

NCT ID NCT07229001

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive treatment for dry eye disease in children. Researchers want to see if a special red light mask worn for 15 minutes is more effective than the standard treatment of warm compresses and artificial tears. The study will enroll 15 children with severe meibomian gland dysfunction, a common cause of dry eyes often linked to digital device use.
