Shining a light on dry eye relief
NCT ID NCT07239128
Summary
This study tested whether adding a gentle, non-invasive light therapy to standard prescription eye drops could better relieve the symptoms of dry eye disease. It involved 160 people with moderate to severe dry eye. Researchers compared the combination of light plus drops to using the drops alone to see if it improved eye comfort and tear film stability.
