Scientists shine light on dry eye mystery

NCT ID NCT07329712

Summary

This study aims to understand how low-level light therapy works for dry eye disease by examining protein changes in tears before and after treatment. Researchers will enroll 30 adults with dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction who are already scheduled for light therapy. The main goal is to identify biological markers that might predict who responds best to this light-based treatment.
