Shining a light on hope: glasses aim to lift mood for sick kids
NCT ID NCT06496477
Summary
This study is testing whether wearing special light therapy glasses can help reduce depression, fatigue, and sleep problems in children and teenagers who are receiving a stem cell transplant. About 98 participants, aged 8 to 18, will wear the glasses for 30 minutes a day for four weeks while also tracking their sleep and mood. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug approach can improve their well-being during a difficult medical treatment.
