Shining a light on cleaner braces: home device fights plaque
NCT ID NCT05825742
Summary
This study tested whether a special light-activated mouth rinse device, used at home, could help teens with braces keep their teeth cleaner and gums healthier. Forty teenagers with braces were split into two groups: one used the light therapy device, and the other did not. Researchers measured plaque and gum bleeding over 12 weeks to see if the device made a difference.
