First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether light therapy is practical for critically ill children aged 4-17 in the pediatric ICU. Over up to 5 days, a light box is placed by the bedside each morning, and light levels are measured. Kids, families, and staff give feedback on how easy it is to use, and any side effects like headaches or eye strain are tracked.
