First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether polarized light therapy combined with hand grip strengthening exercises could improve skin thickness and hand strength in children aged 8 to 11 with localized scleroderma affecting the hands. Twenty-one children participated, and the treatment aimed to ease symptoms rather than cure the disease. Results may help guide physical therapy approaches for this condition.
