NCT ID NCT06582498
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed study tested a new tool called Life S-Can that quickly checks diet, exercise, sleep, and mental health in cancer survivors. 105 survivors used the tool and some received extra coaching from health experts. The goal was to see if the tool helps doctors give better support and improve quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Behavioural intervention: personalised feedback sessions with dietitian, sports therapist, and psychologist
What this could lead to
If successful, this tool could help doctors quickly identify what cancer survivors need to improve their quality of life and long-term health.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-phase study with only 105 participants, so results may not apply to all survivors. The tool may not be accurate or useful in busy clinics.
