Summary
This study tests how well a levonorgestrel IUD works as emergency contraception (within 5 days of unprotected sex) or when started later in the menstrual cycle. About 1,400 people at Planned Parenthood clinics will choose to get the IUD and be followed for one month to see if they become pregnant. The goal is to confirm earlier findings in a larger, more diverse group of people.
