Summary

This study tested a new intrauterine device (IUD) called LevoCept, which releases the hormone levonorgestrel to prevent pregnancy for up to 3 years. It involved 279 women aged 18-40 and measured how well the device works, how easy it is to place, and its safety. The goal was to gather data for a larger Phase 3 study.
