First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a new magnetic surgical system for stomach and upper gut surgeries. The goal is to see if it's safe and can reduce the number of cuts needed. 30 people having laparoscopic surgery will take part. The system uses magnets to hold organs out of the way, possibly leading to less pain and faster recovery.
