Summary
This study tests whether a liquid form of leucovorin calcium, a vitamin-like supplement, can improve language and other symptoms in 80 young children (ages 2.5 to 5) with autism spectrum disorder and language delays. The treatment lasts about 26 weeks and focuses on measuring changes in expressive and receptive language skills. The goal is to see if this approach can ease core communication challenges in early childhood.
